Combustion system
One important benefit of gas models is the closed
combustion system. The arrival of this system has
made the traditional chimney superfluous. With closed
combustion, the system extracts air required for heating
directly from outdoors and removes the flue gases via
the same duct. Such extraction can, in many cases,
simply be fed through the outer wall (via the roof is also
an option of course).
Verbrennungssystem
Ein wichtiger Vorteil eines Gasgeräts
ist die Anwendung des geschlossenen
Verbrennungssystems. Dieses System macht
den traditionellen Schornstein überflüssig. Bei
einem geschlossenen System bezieht das Gerät
die für die Verbrennung benötigte Luft nämlich
direkt von draußen und führt die Rauchgase
durch denselben Kanal wieder ab. Hierdurch
kann die Abfuhr in vielen Fällen einfach durch
die Fassade oder das Dach erfolgen.
